The following tasks are to be completed by Monday, May 11th. You can do them in any order that you would like. The approximate time to complete your assignments are listed to help you plan your week. Remember to check out Mrs. MacEachern and Ms. Van Leeuwan’s Music and Gym Blogs for weekly activities! 

Literacy	Time- 3 hours
Animal Research  -Watch the videos on red pandas  -Draw and write about what you learned in the video	(60 min)
Spring Using Five Senses      -Going into your front or backyard exploring using our five senses	(60 min)
Reading   - Recording yourself reading 3 books at your reading level on Raz Kids	(30 min)
Words of the Week Practice the new words of the week! Write detailed sentences	(30 min)
Optional: Virtual Field Trip (Zoo) -watch more videos about the animals at the Calgary Zoo

Numeracy	Time 2 hours
Patterns  -make 3 different patterns using items in your house and label them	(15 min)
Measurement: -find things in your house that are larger than a given object	(15 min)
Numberless Word Problems -4 questions to answer in a google form	(30 min)
3D Shape Hunt -find 3D shapes in the real world	(60 min)
Optional:  -Practice using various strategies to solve subtraction problems to 20
