The following tasks are to be completed by Monday, June 15th. You can do them in any order that you would like. The approximate time to complete your assignments are listed to help you plan your week. Remember to check out Mrs. MacEachern and Ms. Van Leeuwan’s Music and Gym Blogs for weekly activities! 

Literacy	Time- 3 hours
Persuasive Writing -Write about your opinion on the given topic	(60 min)
Creative Story Writing -Use your story element chart from last week to write your own creative story	(60 min)
Reading   -Record yourself reading at least 2 books on Raz Kids and complete the quizzes that go with those 2 books	(30 min)
Words of the Week Practice the new words of the week! Write detailed sentences	(30 min)
Optional: Virtual Field Trip (Zoo) -watch more videos about the animals at the Calgary Zoo

Numeracy	Time 2 hours
Number Line Subtraction -build a number line and solve subtraction question using it	(15 min)
Balloon Subtraction Game -practice answering subtraction questions	(15 min)
Numberless Word Problems -5 questions to answer in a google form	(30 min)
Prodigy Assignment  -answer the questions on addition and subtraction	(60 min)
Optional:  -Practice using various strategies to solve subtraction problems to 20
