April 20-27th Overview

April 20 - 27, 2020  The following tasks are to be completed by Monday, April 27th. You can do them in any order that you would like. The approximate time to complete your assignments are listed to help you plan your week. Remember to check out Mrs. MacEachern and Ms. Van Leeuwan’s Music and Gym Blogs for weekly activities!  Literacy Time- 3 hours My Favourite Animal Writing  Draw, label, and colour a picture of your favourite animal(s) Write about what you know about that animal on paper like we do at school (60 min) Write the House Go around your house and make a list of all the things that start with the first letter of your name (30 min) Reading   - Recording yourself reading 3 books at your reading level on Raz Kids  (30 min) Words of the Week (Juicy Words) Practice the new words of the week! Write detailed sentences (30 min) Keyboard Exploration     -write an email to your teacher using your   gmail account. (30 min)    Numeracy  Time 2 hours Patterns Review -using things in your house (blocks, lego, crayons) make some patterns (ex. AB, ABC, ABB) (15 min) Sorting Review: -Go and sort some of the things in your room. Then explain your sorting rule to a parent.
